Frank L. Madarasz, CTO, (madarasz@knology.net), has a Ph.D. in
Theoretical Solid State Physics with Honors from the University of Connecticut, a M.S. in Physics from the University of Connecticut, a B.S. in Physics with honors from Utah State University and an A.S. in Engineering Science with honors from State
University of New York - Alfred. He
founded International Diagnostic Technologies, Inc. and is a co-inventor of the
Photonic Molecular Probe, Smart Medical Database, Enhanced Magnetic Resonance
Imaging and Solid-State Molecular Sensor technologies. He has significant industrial experience
including being a Member of Technical Staff in Bell Laboratories and the
Supervisor of the Solid-State Laboratory in General Dynamics. In addition, he acts a consultant to the U.S.
Air Force and U.S. Army in the areas of infrared and nonlinear optical
materials and technologies. He was a
Research Professor in the Optical Science and Engineering Program at the University of Alabama in
Huntsville and has been the Project Scientist on Space Station experiments
for NASA. He was on loan to the Air
Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR)
where he is worked to establish a cooperative nano-science/technology research
program between the Taiwanese government and the Air Force Research
Laboratories (AFRL). Dr. Madarasz has five patents on optical
technologies and has published over sixty five papers published in
international refereed scientific journals and has just completed a book
chapter, Quantum Wire
Optoelectronics in Optics of
Nanostructured Materials, for the publisher Wiley-Interscience. He is a member of the American Physical
Society, the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, Phi Beta
Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Pi Sigma.
